Informal venue with bright murals fixing up curries & other Indian staples, plus veggie options.

This was full stop the kindest service and best spicy butter chicken I've ever had. They also gave us this sauce flight and crispy cracker situation before the meal that was so increadible (not pictured, we devoured, phone could not eat first. Oops). I will dream of this food and it will haunt me until I can return. Super fast service (food in under 15 min) and a clean restroom. Period.
The portion for the lunch special was way too small, it's just two small side dish containers for the mains. I couldn't finish the bread and rice before running out of curry/lentils. I felt like I spent $15 to have bread flavored with curry. Even just doubling the side of the amount of the sauce in a container would have made the experience feel a lot better. It was a decent sauce, there just was so little of it.
Wonderful food!! I've eaten Indian cuisine in Bangladesh, Dubai, India and Angola. The flavors of the dishes here at Indika House are perfect. The Samosa Chaat was even better than I've had when traveling internationally. The service was good, attentive and friendly to talk with. Very good wall painting art. The prices are great. I will eat here again on my next visit to Brooklyn.
