Best Indonesian restaurants in Brooklyn! I've eaten here many times and the food is always delicious and authentic. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I often stop by after work for dinner, and it's become one of my favorite places to relax and unwind. Amazing food and very authentic Indonesian cuisine! What makes this place stand out is that all of the rice dishes come with coconut pandan rice instead of the usual jasmine rice served at most Indonesian restaurants. It goes so well with the food and makes the meal even more flavorful. If you come here, I highly recommend the Spicy Beef Balado and the Crispy Galangal Chicken. Everything was delicious! 🇮🇩🍛✨
The portions are generous & the beef rendang is as good as you’re gonna get anywhere in Indonesia, but it’s v expensive at $23 for meal+tax+tip. Tho if you don’t want to head out to Elmhurst, it’s probably your best bet for Indo food anywhere in BK. It’s also a real bummer they don’t offer some sort of set meal: all you’re getting is meat & rice.
