Ambiance (5/5): We came to dine on a weekday around 8:30p and there was plenty of seating. The décor was super cool with the room surround in Japanese street theme very on par to pubs in Japan. The posters to the trinkets, neon lights, ceiling décor were all very immersive. Service (5/5): The waitress was very polite and serviced us with courteousness. I love Izakaya Noname and we come quite often. This time, I decide to switch it up and got the Beef Brioche and the Homemade Sparkling Strawberry (drink). We also got some refreshing udon. The Beef Brioche was incredible; the fluffy buns contrasted with the savory meat and fillings. We also got the Grilled Corn, which we always get. It’s very crispy and pairs well with the toppings. Overall, love the place and definitely recommend.
Lived in the area for a few years and was so skeptical of this place, but it is legit the two times I’ve come here. Chicken skin, chicken heart, and beef tendon was 10/10 and while the summer cold somen was pricy the broth was actually really special (really good balance of salt and citrus). I’m excited to try more of the menu. The vibe and flavor reminds me of those super legit but also affordable izakayas in Sukhumvit in Bangkok .
