Decided to stop in here for a few drinks after having lunch and am SO HAPPY that we did. Roughly a dozen German beers on tap, along with a selection of wines, sangria and mimosas. After a while we ended up talking to the owners and they are truly some wonderful people. We talked about Greece, Greek coffee and a plethora of things. It really ended up being one of the highlights of our NY trip. Didn't try the food but will definitely do that the next time we visit as the menu looks amazing.
We had the sausages sampler and Hungarian goulash! Really enjoyed the food. The portion is huge, service is fantastic! A lot of beer selections. They have outdoor seating. Highly recommended!
Nice German restaurant in Whitestone. Dishes were a bit expensive but I would suggest the wurst platters as, I feel, they are a good value. They had a good selection of German beers on tap and the service was great. They ran out of Black Forest Cake for dessert and the Apple strudel was not that good and the portion was small for the price. Good thing, no one rushed us out.
