Went old-school at Jahn's Ice Cream Parlor with my sons — because sometimes a man needs burgers, breakfast sausage, and dessert that requires teamwork. 🍔🍨 This place is pure nostalgia — wood-grain panels, vintage decor, and the kind of friendly service that makes you feel like you’ve been coming here since 1972… even if it’s your first time. First time visitor and it won’t be the last. Excellent service! The place was moderately busy with about 50% of seats filled and there were sufficient staff who were very attentive. Food was fresh and well portioned. Restaurant was clean. Old school diner decor. Didn’t get ice cream this time but great selection on the menu.
Went to Jahn’s for thanksgiving dinner. They have quite a spread and it’s very, very reasonably priced. Food was tasty. Service was excellent. The meal came with a couple choices of soup, then salad, then a side and an entree, and dessert! Lots of food, so go hungry if you’re going in for their thanksgiving special.
