I came here around a decade ago. They did not have a buffet back then, as many of the reviews here state. I remember liking this food. The restaurant was empty when it was new, mostly because the neighborhood folks couldn't afford restaurant food. One of the few places in NYC where you can find food from Guinea! Definitely worth traveling up to the Bronx to eat off jalloh’s massive buffet, where breadth is matched by depth in flavor. I typically don't like writing poor reviews about some places. This has to be an exception. The food sits out buffet style but there were so many flies, it was a turn off. It smelled so horrible in there, I couldn't even stay to ask for anything.
