We have been eating at Juliana in Brooklyn for over a decade and it is still the best pizza in our view. They still have the original hand crafted brick oven for their pizza. Their pizzas come out piping hot with creamy cheese and crispy thin crust. The meatballs are tender and flavorful. The cream soda was smooth and refreshing. They also offer good selection of wines to pair it with pizza. Their service is fast and friendly
Very disappointing experience. This place is very famous, so we made a special trip to try it, but the actual experience did not live up to the hype at all. The pizza was disappointing — the crust, sauce, and cheese felt completely separated instead of coming together as one balanced pizza. We arrived at Juliana’s with empty bellies but hearts full of hope. We’ve learned by now Juliana’s is a place we can slow down a bit, let our guard down and count on an experience that is warm and satisfying. This afternoon, we again were not disappointed.
