The best tasting thing I had bought was the can of soda. Food was just fuel but not enjoyable. Took one bite of the phuri and wrapped it back up (I put sour and it didnt made it any better), as a Guyanese I am ashamed. I feel like I just donated $22.50 to them.
My father bought pastries from here today and when he brought them home, one of the items had visible teeth-like marks and exposed filling. It raised serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety, and we did not feel comfortable eating it. This is not the first time the food has seemed stale, but this situation crossed the line for us. Very disappointing experience and we will not be returning. I hope the restaurant takes food handling and quality control more seriously.
I order over the phone and pick up orders most times especially for catering. Prices and fried rice is decent. However! I just ordered doubles and butter flap. The butter flap dry dry no flavor. The doubles is not good! Bara very thick, channa extra hard and hardly a drop of pepper. The pepper taste more like sour and changed the flavor of the doubles all together. Not good. U got the Chinese food on lock but leave the doubles to the Trinis
