Absolutely incredible experience at Kimo’s. The food was fresh, flavorful, and packed with quality ingredients. The sandwich was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time — perfectly crispy, loaded with flavor, and balanced perfectly with the fresh toppings and sauce. After a long run , Kimo’s was exactly what I needed. I ordered a rice bowl and a passion fruit lemonade, and both were absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and the perfect post-run meal. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service from start to finish. I also loved the outdoor seating area, which made for a relaxing atmosphere to sit back and enjoy the food. Great food, great drinks, great service, and a great location. I’ll definitely be back!
Kimo’s is hands down the best restaurant in Rockaway, no debate. The ambiance alone is worth the visit because it legit feels like you walked into Greece and Egypt at the same time. I really felt so comfortable here. The food is where it really shines though. I got the Chicken Souvlaki Bowl and I’ve had souvlaki plenty of times but this one is different.
