We stumbled on this coffee shop on a day trip to the Met Cloisters (only an 8 minute drive away) on a very snowy and cold day, and thank God we did!! I got a dirty chai and my mom got an Americano, both were delicious. I love a dirty chai where you can actually taste both the coffee AND spices! I also got a cardamom bun and WOW, cannot recommend enough. I stopped by today for a coffee, it was my first time. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They have a good menu with a variety of coffees, and they also sell pastries. They have a few tables with outlets that can be utilized for working. The place is nicely decorated with paintings. I ordered a dirty chai latte and it was pretty good.
Definitely a good coffee shop, but lacks consistency. One day you’ll get your coffee the way it should be properly steam milk everything on point the next day you’ll get an entire cup of marshmallow foam and or the wrong size It’s difficult to keep having to ask the girls the counter to give you the right size that you would actually ordered and paid for when you have to keep doing it again and again. It’s just easier to stop coming
