Besides the long wait time, the food was really good but it was a bit on the salty side. Other than that, it was pretty good.
First Impression I searched for local restaurants nearby that make sancocho soup and decided to order with La Sorpresa since I had not tried it before. Within a few minutes of placing my order I received an email stating my order had been cancelled by the restaurant because they are “busier than usual.” I thought that was a good thing. There is only one employee that speaks English as well as Spanish so I sat around for about 10 minutes just waiting to order. I did try with the Spanish speaking woman but it was clearly not working. The food was DELICIOUS!! I will definitely be learning the names of the dishes just to return to this eatery!
