My wife and I absolutely loved this place! The food was incredible...my wife kept saying "wow" every time she tried something new! 😄 We had the "funghi" pizza with the banana pudding and their cappuccino! Everything was absolutely fabulous 😋😋 It was such a pleasure to spend our money! We live in Jersey City and we will happily come back to Brooklyn just for this place! 😁
I tried this restaurant recently and overall, it was a mixed experience. The calamari was excellent really well cooked, flavorful, and definitely a highlight of the meal. As for the pizza, it wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best wood-fired pizza I’ve had. The dough and baking could use some improvement it didn’t have that perfect texture you’d expect from top wood-fired pizza spots. Was in on Thursday 23rd April early evening, service was sub standard, guy had zero interest all evening, got home with the remaining pizza to find it all folded on top of each other. How difficult would it be to put in a larger box but I think it’s connected to fact the server had no interest. I didn’t notice an option to tip below 18 per cent…. Won’t be rushing back.
