For lunch decided to go here. The restaurant has very nice decor. Some staff are nice and greet you with a smile and others are not personable. My waitress did not check on me not one time after taking my order. The pastelios I ordered were cold in the middle. And for how long my food came it was not piping hot more like Luke half warm. Used to live on Grand and this was my go to spot. After all these years it still hits. The service is always on point, place is always clean, and the food is consistent and delicious. Rice and beans still taste the same after all these years. Wish I had this place where I lived now.
Let me start by saying I’ve been purchasing food here for about 15 years. I usually always get the baked chicken which is always good but I decided to try the churrasco , and chicharon de pollo which was horrible. The steak was disgusting and the chi Charon de pollo wasn’t seasoned at all, it was very underwhelming and I didn’t understand the pricing, I basically got like 5 nuggets and a solid of amount of plantains in a aluminum container for 19$.
