The pastries are delicious and so are the different drinks. I got the lychee bubble tea but without boba and instead got the lychee jelly, sooo good, it was a bit too sweet, but next time I’ll tell them to make it less sweet. My kiddo likes the marmalade lollipops that they sell. I wish they had more seating, but other than that the food is great.
Lily Bloom Bakery is definitely one of the most popular bakeries in NYC among Cantonese group and their signature egg tart is a must-try. It’s owned by the same owner of Xin Fa Bakery, which we visited a while ago. The decor is bright, clean and modern with proper safety procedure during the pandemic. The options were not in a great variety but pretty decent and we had 2 pastries and a box of egg tarts. The egg tarts were delicious and it’s filling was super creamy & soft like the sweet versio
Lily Bloom and and its parent store, Xin Fa, have been around for almost a decade. Last time, I visited this location was six years ago. After all these years, they still make some of the best Portuguese egg/custard tarts. The pastry is well done and crispy, and the tart itself is full and filling! Couple that with a cup of HK Style Milk Tea and you have the perfect afternoon tea and pastry combo! The HK Style Milk Tea is freshly brewed and made to order which on a cold or rainy day is perfect!
