Los Balbuena is one of those solid local gems. If you want real Dominican flavor, generous portions, and a friendly spot to eat, this is a great choice. Their red beans are to die for! One of the best I’ve tasted. I’ll absolutely be back, and next time I want to try their sancocho just to see if it’s as good as this. If you’re in the neighborhood and hungry, make this one your stop!
I had the asopao de pollo and it was pretty good . Can't say so much for the chicharon de pollo but all in all the food is decent. But the beers are ice cold so it gives the place a good balence .
