Real authentic Mexican bakery. conchas and payasitos do not disappoint. Other Mexican goodies are offered besides bread, like quesillo, cecina, chorizo... also personal care stuff like pomada de La campana and Nivea... very interesting place.
Convenient location for a Bakery. There are a few Mexican bakeries in the area. There wasn’t anything that wowed me. Decent bread. The “concha” was warm, soft and sweet. The other bread, however, was a bit stale. No frills bakery / deli. Pretty sure I could find better options in the neighborhood.
I was nostalgic and decided to go back to this bakery I remembered enjoying going to while living in Bushwick when I was younger and was left disappointed. From reading other reviews it seems like it is the store owner’s nature but regardless you do not want to go buy bread and then be scolded for choosing a mobile receipt over a physical one.
