Stopped by Los Tacos No. 1 at Grand Central for lunch, and it absolutely lived shortcuts or compromises. There was a long 20-minute queue when I arrived, but don't let that deter you—the line moves fast, and it is 100% worth the wait! The ordering process is super efficient. You choose your style and your tortilla (they offer both excellent corn and flour options). I ordered the Pollo Asado (grilled chicken) and the Adobada (marinated pork) tacos, paired with one of their refreshing Aguas Fresca
Post-Broadway tacos that are truly worth it! 🌮 • Super convenient location near the Minskoff Theatre; perfect for a quick bite after the show. • The Pollo Asado was delicious. A bit pricey for the size, but understandable given the quality and prime location. • There was a line, but it moved quickly. Staff were efficient and fast with orders. • Best part: loads of salsa and spicy sauce! Love that they have a condiments corner where you can add as much as you want. • Highly recommended!
If you're starving, this may not be the best place simply because the line is lengthy. Expect to wait 30+ minutes standing in a line outside the restaurant. The wait is absolutely worth every bite! Er'thing, and I do mean, Er'thang is delicious. The Agua frescas are really good as well. Highly recommend going. If you're lucky to find table corner inside the restaurant, you'll enjoy eating standing up.
