I'm writing this review with the full understanding that Luigi's is almost always rated as one of the top slice joints in NYC. I've seen countless reviewers rate them as one of the (if not) the best. That being said, I did not find this slice very good. The crust was thin as expected but the tip was soggy. The ingredients didn't seem very distinct. Talking to Gio was awesome, he knows pizza and has true passion for what he does day in and day out. The pizza was amazing, Gio says the sauce is where its at and I would agree.
