Recently had a family dinner at Luigi’s. We’ve been coming here for years now and it’s one of our favorite places to dine in. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, service is great, and food is delicious. I had the lamb rack special with a side of the creamy polenta and asparagus - 10/10! We came to Luigi’s on a Sunday evening for dinner for two. This was our first time and immediately our first impression was the ambiance was lovely. However, despite making a reservation, we ended up waiting for over 30 minutes. I don’t normally mind waiting, especially when I can see that the restaurant is busy. The service for Mother’s day ‘26 was lousy. We had reservations but still waited outside for almost an hour for our table. When at the table the waiter recommended ‘Family Style’ for the appetizers and suggested the following three, Calamari, Pizza and mozzarella sticks. There were 8 of us.
