I was feeling a bit peckish and craving something sweet when I stumbled upon Luna’s Bakery, and I’m so glad I did. I found out it’s an authentic Mexican bakery, and the experience felt both simple and charming. The bakery is self-serve. I always walk past this place and it smells amazing. After years of living in the area, I finally tried their pastries. The lady was kind and patient with me as I was overwhelmed with options. She took the time to explain which ones where sweet , plain or mixed. I went with a traditional concha and bread with cheese inside. The breads are fresh and delightful. I will be returning to try more options.
If I could rate this place zero stars I would. I just came by to buy some bread but the younger looking lady behind the counter was being very rude. When the short lady was letting me know about being charged extra if paying with card, I had told her I understood and this other lady from behind comes and instead of politely asking me to hand her my phone, she gives me a “ give me your phone” type of response in Spanish. I mean why can’t they set up the card system in front of the customers inste
