A lovely Mexican dinner at Maizal in Clifton, Staten Island. Known for their margaritas, I had a spicy jalapeño and my friend had the grapefruit. For appetizers we shared queso with chorizo and a stuffed plantain with garlic shrimp. For main courses, more shrimp: tacos, a burrito bowl and their spicy shrimp special.
