We took the subway to Washington Heights to explore the neighborhoods and worked up an appetite. I picked out the Malecon restaurant in advance after reviewing the menu and the many good reviews. We were seated quickly and spent a few minutes looking over the substantial menu. I chose one of the daily specials and my wife selected what she thought would be lighter a bowl of their Sopa De Pollo. Take out order was ready very fast. Friendly and helpful customer service. $30 cash for two huge lunch specials. I loved that they included maduros. Food was flavorful and delicious.
