I had an amazing time at Marathon Hong Kong Diner! Their black peppered beef noodles were so flavorful and their noodles were cooked to perfection. The pork cutlet was full of meat and was really good with their curry. The cheese on top was also the perfect combo. I love Hong Kong French Toast and they perfected this dish with the best ratio of bread, condensed milk, and peanut butter inside. I also loved their red bean milk tea. The food was also made so quick! Can’t wait to come back again~
My HK friends have been raving about their food, so I finally made the trip to check it out. You’ll spot their booth immediately when you walk into LIC Food Hall. I met the owner, David, who’s born and raised in HK and very passionate about bringing true HK comfort flavors to NYC. A lot of their dishes remind me of Cafe de Coral (大家樂) or Fairwood (大快活), just even better. They exceeded even my high bar for HK food. To be honest, the prices are higher than the HK cafes in Chinatown, Brooklyn, or
I absolutely love hong kong comfort food and this spot satisfied the craving for me. I love how crispy and delicious the pork cutlet was. the spaghetti bolognese with the meats was comforting. you must pair your meal with their milk tea with red bean ice. it had such a good tea flavor. overall, I can’t wait to come back!
