I selected Mello Bistro based on its reviews and they were spot on! The quaint restaurant whose owners are the chef and manager, was just lovely. Mello Bistro is a MUST if you are in Staten Island. From beginning to end - food and drinks were delicious. You cannot go wrong here. Food and service are spot on. Music is the right level to carry a normal conversation. Restroom is clean and well lit. It is kid friendly. The menu has great options. You can tell that the chef puts his heart into the food. Great cozy restaurant with a warm atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious — the fried calamari was very fresh, the grilled octopus was perfectly cooked and served at the right temperature, and the stuffed pork chops are a must-try — very tender and full of flavor. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place worth visiting! 😊
