Prob the best diner on the island. Diners should be making a comeback soon. Being able to eat breakfast and dinner items at any time is awesome. The pancakes are great here. The service is amazing. Def will be back.
The longer a place is open, the more experience a place will acquire, the better for the customers. I had moved to Staten Island back in 1988, and I had discovered Mike's brand of restaurants around that time. Mike's Diner of Hylan Blvd. Is a m perfect example of a classic diner with both booths and open tables to eat at. When visiting, I had seen plenty of seating options. Our waitress was hostile. No reason for me to go back and be treated like that. Food was good so I'm not happy to write this review. Not going to spend money and be treated like that. There were signs, we were laughing about this. I guess we were warned. I wont be back for a long long long time. Maybe I'll wait for a "under new managment" or some other signal it's OK to try again. ZERO chance I'm going back after being treated like that.
