This was my first time trying NAYA, I was really excited because one of my bosses gave me a $25 gift card for Christmas. However, when ready to check out, they couldn't use my gift card properly, and told me I had a zero dollar balance, while looking at me awkwardly. NAYA, a middle eastern fast casual restaurant chain, opened up a new location in DUMBO, Brooklyn in August 2025. It was popular among office employees during their weekday work lunch hour. The line was long but it moved quickly. The naya roll was delicious but the fatayer (mini pies with spinach, lemon, and sumac) tasted too much like a recently thawed frozen meal. The food is simply delicious. I got the shawarma and the all toppings they got. You know when you take a bite and you can’t stop eating after because it’s too good to stop enjoying. That’s what it was to me. It also helps that the employees serving the food were super helpful and wanted to assist me along the way to get what I really wanted to eat. The location is also very vibrant and chill. Would recommend it to anyone that enjoys Mediterranean cuisine
