New Apolo in Bushwick is my favorite Chinese food in NYC. The orange chicken and general tso's are very good, but imo the real star of the show is the fried rice. It's the best I've had anywhere and they'll make it however you want. Super fresh, super fast, don't let the appearance fool you, this place is the real deal. They're a little more expensive than other Chinese places in the area, but I don't even consider other places anymore when I want Chinese food. They have a limited bar selecti
Dumpy hole in the wall. Food came quickly. Orange chicken was 90% batter with tiny pieces of dried stale chicken at the center. Wayyy too sweet. Fried rice was bland. I'd be forgiving except this was $17.
I been coming here for years and years and they never ever go wrong this place is a local Bushwick staple there would be no Bushwick with no New Apollo. The community loves the food and the drinks, they treat us like family and are good to us every time we go for years and years. People should watch and learn good service and food from New Apollo.
