Nostrand Express is one of the few Delis I trust on Flatbush junction. It's always clean inside and the service is pretty fast. They sell breakfast, sandwiches, and some hot food options. Today I ordered salsalito on a roll with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, black pepper and bbq sauce, toasted. The turn around time was a bit too fast and when I opened my sandwich it wasn't toasted. I spoke the gentleman behind the counter and they apologized and fixed the sandwich for me. I paid under
This is one of the fastest serving deli that I went to. They are fast paced. Once you enter, someone is ready to take your order. They take about 5-6 orders per person . The food taste great . I usually order a breakfast sandwich, either a bacon egg and munster cheese or a BLT. They became familiar with my face and asked me if I'm getting my usually. I loved that . This is a popular place for Brooklyn College students to get lunch so it's very busy during the day but the guys who work here are fast and the food is good. Best salad in the area. Grilled chicken is fresh and flavorful and actually hot off the grill. Very inexpensive to get a large salad with lots of toppings. Can be $8-12 depending on how many extras you want.
