Enjoyed my experience at Obscure. A small neighborhood cafe/nano roaster that specializes in South American coffee beans. I ordered a pour-over with anaerobic, natural gesha from Peru ($12). It was brewed on a v60, well balanced, good clarity, yellow fruit juiciness. Maybe slightly over extracted but very tasty. The barista was very nice. They have a nice selection of beans from the roastery, and if you buy a bag you get a free espresso or drip coffee. I bought a bag and got an espresso.
Coffee and atmosphere is 10/10. The coquito latte has a great balance, the owner was great has a great sense of making the customers feel like home.
Visited Obscure after visiting Dayglow and Sey on the same day, and Obscure was 100x better. Their coffee selection and pour over technique was way better than the other two. I was able to taste all the notes listed on the coffee description, and it was a reasonable price! I had the Edinson Argote and the Edwin Noreña and they were amazing!
