My office had a field trip to Flushing Meadows with about 50 people, and our lunch was at the Olmsted Center Cafeteria. NOTE: I work at a city government agency and we coordinated in advance to eat lunch there. I am not sure if the cafeteria is available to the public. The manager was surprisingly very respectful to the good guy. Very professional, friendly with a pretty smile. Much respect to her (｡♡‿♡｡) The security on the other hand gets a big fat "F" with no respect to the public. Almost typical to every person that wears a badge.
Truly a building and grounds that would make the great Frederick Law Olmsted proud. The reflecting pool is a must see.
