New York has so many places for live music, but as someone who really appreciates good jazz, Ornithology stands out to me. They have two different spaces, one is more of a restaurant with a classic, seated vibe and the other is a bar with more energy. Personally, I prefer the bar and always want to sit there as soon as possible. Also, for students, they offer a great 50% discount, so the entry is about $10, which is really nice. Had a light dinner here before going to the early bird show at 6:30 at the Ornithology Cafe around the corner. Absolutely delicious Pita and Fatoush Salad and the service was lovely. Gorgeous interior too. Didn’t get to see the show here but hopefully next time!
Phenomenal jazz club. I love how it’s tucked away. Never seen or heard a bad band. The cucumber mocktail is great too! Great hangs!
