Love Panda no matter what anyone says. Wish they'd bring back Sweetfire Chicken (COUGH COUGH). Nice new location, good space inside for eating in, friendly staff, however the bowl I ordered was so tiny. Metro Panda stacks your bowl, Austin location gave me 4 pieces of chicken in my side of chicken and broccoli. By the time I realized there was so little protein, it was gone. Everything else in my plate was untouched. This order was placed on the app for pickup, perhaps it's the same as Chipotle
I came in here with a friend to have lunch and do some shopping nearby. We both enjoyed the orange chicken. We watched the cook bring out a fresh batch and we knew we had to grab that and the bejing beef. Place was clean and staff welcoming and friendly too.
It's 12 dollars for the cheapest meal. I was the first customer of that day I went, keep that in mind. I go to every place right when they open. First time I was passed they didn't open on time and that bothered me. I happened to be walking by right at opening time another day and they did open on time, and all their food was new. NEW. So why is it that it tasted subpar and as if it had been sitting out all day? Rubbery and a bit stale and not anywhere near as tasty as a standard chinese takeout
