I was forced to spend a day at JFK due to a flight cancellation. Looking for “fine dining” near JFK brough up Paris Café at the TWA Hotel - what a hidden gem! Jean-Georges' restaurant sits inside Eero Saarinen's old terminal at JFK, and the place is a perfect 60s time capsule — right down to the music. Beautifully restored. My husband and I enjoyed our new dinner experience in TWA Hotel’s Cafe Paris. Their medium salmon on a bed of spinach and potatoes was fresh, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Worst food in the area. If you are heading to a flight, youre better off eating in the airport. If you’re arriving, go literally anywhere else that’s not here. It’s insanely overpriced and the food is actually terrible. I got the rigatoni because I assumed it was hard to mess up pasta. But they managed to!
