We had a pre-Thanksgiving gathering with our NYC family. Thrilled to have picked the perfect restaurant. Food was amazing. Very generous with their portions. I had the best linguine with clam sauce I've ever had. Definitely going back. Waiters were very friendly and the service was spot on. Great atmosphere. You don't feel like you're being rushed out. My experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arriving, we were immediately told “no” by a male host named Joe, who has a white goatee, and were effectively denied service without a reasonable explanation. I assume Joe is the manager based on all the responses to unhappy reviews saying to contact Joe. He literally came up to us as if we were children in time-out and straight up said “No.” Not the typical response you get when entering a restaurant. Joe informed us that several tables were res
The food was so good! Hot, tasty, full of flavor and cooked so it won't lose its texture. The portion size was enough for one to share. I was instantly addicted to the bread with garlic and oil. It was a nice treat brought to the table before the meal. Robanno was our server. He was efficient, professional, up beat and attentive. He's there everyday except Thursday.
