Best meal I’ve ever eaten in NY. Been staying in Brooklyn for a week now travelling all the boroughs. Wanted to support black owned business and it so happened to be Juneteenth when we came in. The signature chicken burger was AMAZING and I subbed to sweet potato fries which were so crispy and nice. Even the house lemonades and iced tea hit so hard. Finished with the double chocolate cake and literally ascended. I went home and took a 1 hour nap before hitting the clubs after.
Went with my sister and was exactly what I needed for a soul food fix. It does the job that it needs to do let me tell you. I got the mikes hot honey fried chicken sandwich the chicken was perfectly fried the bun was perfect the slaw on it was the right balance. We also ordered a side of greens, Mac and cheese, and grits. All side were exactly how they should be if you ask me, proper comfort in each bite
As soon as my friend and I walked in, 2 people greeted us and made us feel so welcome. May, though, went above and beyond! She checked in, she made sure we received everything we wanted. She is the absolute hostess! This is my first time at Peaches but definitely not my last! The food was scrumptious but this amazing hostess is expecting us back! Thank you May!
