Before I explain why I am so upset, I want to say that I have been coming to Pollo Mario for over 15 years. My entire family has supported this restaurant for years, but sadly, today was the last day I will ever step foot in the location at 83-02 37th Ave, Jackson Heights, NY 11372. I placed a pickup order for a Picada, something I order often. Normally, the Picada from Pollo Mario includes potatoes, pork, beef, sausages, arepas, plantains, and yucca. I came to this block to watch Colombia in the World Cup. Unfortunately both places I tried to enter were completely booked. I got lucky to find this place. They sat me immediately and I had a delicious dinner and dessert. Service was top notch!
Best spot for colombian food been going to this location for 30yrs. You won't be disappointed with the taste and portions come with en empty stomach.
