The food was good and in the sense of food you would make at your house. It is nothing suffocated like say the Door but it was well prepared with a good atmosphere. They had many options even in the later evening so that was good for those who would visit after me. I would visit again when I am in the area for a quick meal. One other thing to note, the food was not greasy. Other items were ordered as well.
Portion size was good , I enjoyed the rice it was really good , there weren’t many oxtails in the other plate which I was disappointed in but overall the food was decent .
POT TO PLATE If you are anywhere near Laurelton, Springfield Gardens,Cambria Hgts, St. Albans, etc... and you can appreciate authentic Jamaican cuisine, then you MUST grab some Pot To Plate!! Pot to Plate is located on Merrick Blvd & 219th Street. Although there are a lot of West Indian restaurants in these neighborhoods, quality of Service & Food is what makes Pot To Plate stand out. Pot to plate is not only delicious, but the customer service offered by Diandra, Yohanna & Kay is top notch!!
