Decent place but they need more servers. The one server they had was amazing though. I don't know how he served a whole packed restaurant and mixed drinks. Good Job. The kitchen was solid too. It was a pleasant experience.
Came here on Weekend and it was empty but got packed pretty quick. They were so understaffed I felt bad for the server, he was taking orders, attending guests, doing the bar and checking on everyone. I dined at Puertas last night and had a lovely time. It is one of the few upscale Latin fusion restaurants in Bay Ridge, and it absolutely deserves our support. The restaurant, including the bathroom, was clean and sanitary, and I personally observed the staff busily cleaning and clearing tables and common areas. No one lazed about; everyone kept busy.
