Unpretentious cafeteria serving Polish eats such as pierogis, kielbasa, and stuffed cabbage.
From Google Maps reviews.
Super solid old-style Polish spot. Food feels homemade, portions are big, and prices are very reasonable. I tried the cabbage - hunter stew with mashed potatoes and also the chicken schnitzel with cucumber salad, everything tasted comforting and authentic, like simple home cooking done right. Service was friendly and quick too.
Felt like Poland but Poland 40 years ago 😂 we laughed that it’s mora authentic than Poland is polish. But we got good food for good price and service was nice. I think not having a possibility to pay by card is a minus, it’s 21st century- come on.
A must when you’re in Greenpoint. No frills spot with homey and heartwarming Polish food.
