Would NOT recommend this place! I bought a mango mousse birthday cake for my mom, cream puffs, and a blueberry muffin. To my surprise when I opened the box, half the top of the cake slid off. It seems the layer on top didn’t set yet when I bought it. The entire top was actually not smooth, and the inside of the cake was really sour. The service was adequate but that wasn't surprising given the lack of courteous individuals and severe absence of work ethic in present-day New York). Rimini Pastry Shoppe is our favorite place for cakes. We always go there for special occasions and have never been disappointed. Their strawberry cake with custard cream is a regular favorite—fresh, light, and delicious. Last time we tried the tiramisu cake and it was absolutely delish! Everything tastes fresh, and consistently high quality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great local bakery.
