Had a great experience at River Dock Cafe! The location right by the Staten Island Ferry is unbeatable, with beautiful waterfront views that make the whole meal even better. The food was fresh and delicious — the salad with shrimp and avocado was super flavorful, and everything looked just as good as it tasted. Patio has a nice view of the Manhattan skyline; food was ok; service was bad (our server Amanda took away the rest of my salad in spite the fact that I said I was still working on it and didn’t even apologize; her later asking for a larger tip was very uncalled for!)
