I've never set foot on the grounds but I've viewed it many a time from a kayak. And I always enjoy seeing it, as it is one of the more attractive sites to lay eyes on along this side of the river north of Manhattan. I always chuckle to myself at the pretentiousness of "yacht" in the name, which I think may be tongue in cheek anyway as in all the years I've passed by I've only ever seen a handful of sailboats of any size and never more than two there at once. They appear to have nice tennis court
The best time is sunset on their deck overlooking the Hudson River. It's pleasantly nostalgic to hear the classic whistle of the locomotives as they whiz by. Breezes can be chilly during the winter.
Needs a/c or better a/c. Food was great, but sweating through the whole meal , kinda ruined the experience.

Gaps, cracks, or clutter make it easy for pests to get in and nest.
