Hip American cafe for classic comfort foods, weekend brunch & full bar with house cocktails.

Went here with two friends who live close by after a movie. One really likes their quesadillas (kind of random) so she got those as her main; the other got a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. I got the salad with salmon. I tried the quesadillas and they were pretty ok for bar quesadillas. The chicken sandwich looked really good and the fries were good. My salad was not good. The salmon had no marinade or rub or anything and the salad just tasted overwhelmingly of feta cheese and white wine vi
Stopped by Rove for brunch with a group of five on a Sunday before noon. A true neighborhood gem, especially with so many chains taking over Austin Street. The space is cozy and welcoming, we were seated easily before the lunch rush, and the service was warm and attentive. Comforting, well-executed food at very reasonable prices for the area—nothing pretentious, just solid brunch done right. A great local spot for a relaxed Sunday with a small group.
Solid little place with no airs of pretention. Simple food. Simple drinks. Great equation for a business v that can withstand plenty. Lovely staff. Thursday night trivia is fun!
