What a lovely, cozy and beautiful neighborhood spot in Long Island City! Located right on Vernon so it super easy to find. Every dish we ordered was so flavorful and delicious!! I absolutely loved the basil chicken and the pak kee mao with steak. The flavor profile was complex, had kick and just so so good!! Big bright windows that actually open up on good weather days. Had the loveliest lunch the other day at Saang Thai. The inside was surprisingly empty considering how delicious everything was. We ordered a few dishes to share- the portion sizes are so generous here and they don’t skimp on the proteins. Definitely come with a larger group to try many of their dishes! The flavor reminds me of comfy home cooking. Highly recommend the crab fried rice and the steak entree with pad see ew.
Came here for dinner and was blown away by the interior design. The ceiling is covered in beautiful flowers and lanterns, creating a very romantic and cozy atmosphere.
