I bought profiterole today, and it was a terrible experience. Two of them had no white cream inside, and the ones that did were sour, meaning they had spoiled. The pastry itself was extremely dry and stale. I paid $9 for this, but even if it were fresh, it wouldn't be worth that price. By the way, I am a chef myself and I make this dessert often, so I know exactly how it should be. It was disappointed.
Safit Bakery and Cafe is such a cozy spot. I love coming here to sit down, have a coffee, and either meet friends or have a business conversation. What I appreciate the most is how quiet it is — you can actually talk without noise or distractions. The food is really good, especially for breakfast. The toast with salmon is delicious — fresh, simple, and done right. Overall, it’s just a great place for locals. Comfortable, calm, and reliable. Highly recommend!

It’s not fair to serve customers old food when they are paying for it, especially when this is not the first time it has happened at this place.
