The worst sushi I’ve ever had in my entire life. I don’t understand how can they give this to a customer? You can see on photos, there was skin and brown stuff that belongs in the trash. I had to spit out with every bite! I’ve never had sushi this BAD! Sushi is not cheap, I will never come back to Sakura on avenue U. It was disgusting! Absolutely horrible experience! Money down the drain.
I ordered the beef teriyaki lunch and 2 spicy salmon rolls. Because they were the lunch specials, both were reasonably priced. The server filled my cup as soon as it was empty. Definitely good service. Will stop by again later.
The restaurant is located in the Sheepshead Bay/Homecrest section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. I ordered the sushi bento box and the sashimi bento box. Both bento boxes were very good. The bento boxes included miso soup and salad with a choice of white rice or brown rice. The sushi box has four pieces of sushi and the sashimi box has five pieces of sashimi including one shrimp.
