I’ve been coming to this mom and pop pizzeria for over 20 years. It’s a staple in the area. It’s actually the mother and son who take care of it. There’s also a gentleman who has been with them for as long as I could remember. For a long time I was scared of the lady behind the counter. Then I spoke to her one day and realized how sweet she really is. Been coming here since I could chew. Even after we moved, any time we visit Astoria? Its a must we stop at Samaria. You’re not getting any better tasting pizza anywhere else, or a bigger portion size than the slices they give.
