Had a really excellent dinner at Santa Panza this weekend! We shared 3 appetizers (the spring snap peas, meatball, and whipped ricotta) and were really happy with each. We were also full, so we split the trout as our entree, which was excellent. Service was really friendly and accommodating of the pace we were eating/ordering food. Loved this place! It feels like a hidden gem.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I received only seven ravioli, served cold, with almost no sauce and absolutely no flavor. The white pizza tasted old and was just as disappointing. Paying $63 for food of this quality felt extremely frustrating. I genuinely hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves the quality and freshness of their dishes, because my experience was far below expectations.
At first glance, from the outside graffiti-strewn entrance, the place seemed sketchy. But once inside, we were greeted by our wsiter Diego, who was well informed and friendly. You'll find yourself in a cozy and inviting environment. We tried the burratta with pesto served with hot pizza bread which in a word was Fantastic. Its the best burratta I've ever had.
