I came here with a friend and it was my first time trying German food. I can't remember everything we ordered because my friend took the lead on that but I know for sure we ordered the schnitzel and it was really good. The waiters and the managers were so helpful and kind. We stayed near closing and they were very generous about it however for their sake I wish we got out a little bit earlier. This is as close as it gets to the authentic "Bier Halle" experience (at least in Bay Ridge). The cuisine is unashamedly German (depending on your tastes this could be a negative or a positive :-) and the choice of German beers is truly impressive (I mean, real German beers, not "brewed in Brooklyn, tastes somewhat like German"). Overall, highly recommended (even though your nutritionist might not approve).
