The staff at this Shake Shack are friendly, and the service moves fast without feeling rushed. The food was delicious, exactly what you want from Shake Shack. The location is incredibly convenient, right next to the Staten Island Mall, making it an easy stop before or after shopping.
The wait time is ludicrous. Customer service is nonexistent. You input your own order on crowded kiosks and are asked to tip? This place is a nightmare. Much like every other fast food option on Staten Island, the workers are lazy, inept and miserable. This isn’t like Shake Shack locations in other states, it’s the bottom of the barrel. 5 Guys is a 1/4 mile away and light years beyond this sad hovel of slow workers.
I don’t go to the mall often, but when I do I always crave Shake Shack. The food court options don’t do it for me. The burger was flavorful and crisp, the fries were delicious as always. We got the double shack burger and fries with the tropical kiwi lemonade. The seating area is pretty large and happened to be fairly empty, but it does fill up quick during the weekends depending on the time and it’s far too cold currently to sit outside. Overall, Shake Shack continues to provide a satisfying me
